Additional information regarding support at Newman
Disabled Students Allowance (DSA): If you have a long term medical condition, disability or specific learning difficulty you may be eligible to apply for Disabled Students Allowance (DSA), which pays for equipment and/or non-medical help聽you may need at university. DSA is not a loan and you don鈥檛 have to repay any funding, so don鈥檛 worry about adding to student debt.
Our聽service is not just here for students who consider themselves 'disabled'.聽 It is here for聽any students who have on-going physical conditions, mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety etc, Specific Learning Difficulties, hearing or visual loss etc.
Disability and Inclusion services provide advice and assistance to applicants and students who may require adjustments or arrangements to enable them to fully participate in student life.
